Hey Poco Fans,

It has been a year since Qualcomm announced it's first 700 series chipset, Snapdragon 710 which is a level above than the existing 600 series but at the same time below the 800 series, Which is getting featured in many devices from many brands including our favourite Xiaomi.

Now Qualcomm has announced a more bumped up version of the Snapdragon 710 and the very second of the 700 series, The "Snapdragon 712".

We can easily assume from the number that it is a little step above the previous 710 as the name suggests, It's a little upgrade over it's predecessor.

Snapdragon 712 is based on the 10nm chip and a 64-bit architecture, there are total of 8x kryo 360 cores same as it's predecessor.

Furthermore, This chip has Adreno 616 GPU and Snapdragon X15 Modem, The eye-catching area of improvement is the clock speed where we can see the upgrade, It has a higher clock speed of 2.3ghz as compared to Snapdragon 710's 2.2ghz, Which is basically 0.1ghz more.
Another area which has been improved is the charging speed, The predecessor 710 had support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0, While 712 supports even the latest Quick Charge 4.0+.

Let's take a look at the specs of Snapdragon 712

CPU:                        2x 2.3GHz Kryo 360 (Cortex-A75)
